Thanks for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you’ll visit us in person soon. Our goal is to make Northside Church a safe place for you to continue taking steps in your faith journey. You can read the FAQ’s to better plan for a visit. You can email us here and let us know you are coming. We love when people this, and you can also ask any questions that may be a help to you.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IF I COME SUNDAY?
Our Sunday focus is to provide an environment where all people can be inspired to take a new step in following Jesus. We seek to accomplish this through a personal welcome, meaningful worship, and Bible teaching. There are also LIFE Groups that meet throughout the week for a more personal opportunity to connect and grow.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE?
We begin at 10:00 AM. We encourage you to come early so we can help you find your way around. We want to give you time to check in your kids and get a cup of coffee or water. If you have young children (more about children’s ministries below) we suggest you get here about 9:40, that should give enough margin without you feeling rushed.
WHAT IS WORSHIP LIKE?
Through our worship teams, you’ll experience an amazing time of worship directed to God alone. We mix contemporary worship songs with upbeat traditional hymns of the faith to achieve a great balance of worship styles. Our worship time is carefully planned to prepare hearts and minds to receive what God will say through the preaching of His Word.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At Northside Church we encourage you to come as you are. Most people attend wearing business-casual attire; some may wear suits, ties and dresses and others wear jeans or shorts. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about. We want you to be comfortable.
WHERE DO I PARK and enter?
On the east side of our building you will see our main entrance with some parking spaces save just for our guests.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY CHIDLREN?
We have great environments for young children. Our first environment is for infants through Pre-K. These children will have a great time learning, playing, creating, singing and quite often dancing. Our second environment is for those in Kindergarten through the 6th Grade. They have a lot of room and a lot of leaders who are committed to making this a great hour each week. They will hear and see that God loves them, values them, and cares deeply what is going on in their lives. Our goal is to make this a memorable experience that will lead them to want to return. While you are enjoying a great time of worship please know that the safety of your child is of utmost importance to us. All of our volunteers are trained to ensure your child's safety.
We also have LIFE Groups for Jr. High and High School students on Sunday evenings. Many of these students serve on Sunday mornings making it necessary to use a different time. We are a better church because of their service.
WILL I HAVE TO SIGN, SAY, OR GIVE ANYTHING?
As our guests you won't be ask you to give a dime. We won't make you wear a visitor badge or ask you to stand up or do anything that could make you feel uncomfortable. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want. We will encourage you to fill out a STEPS Card that allows us to know you a little better and maybe understand how we can serve you, but this is totally your call. You may need to visit our church over several weeks to see what's going on at Northside Church.
